Update

So Jacob had his 6mth appointment the day before he turned 7 mths (with all the back to school check ups our pediatrician was a little busy). Anyways, It has now almost been two weeks, but I thought I would give you a little update on how big he is now. Jacob is now a big 19lbs 8 oz, and 28 1/2 inches long. He is a big guy. We are amazed at how much he is changing. Last month we upgraded to the big convertible car seat, and he enjoys it so much. He thinks he is big stuff. The infant one made him lay back to far and he hated it. Besides now, even though he is still rear-facing, his feet don't touch the back seat.
Another big accomplishment is that Jacob crawled a little. I am disappointed I didn't get to see the little feat. Michael got to witness it while I was working. Jacob has been scooting all over the place. It is amazing how even when he really isn't mobile. You set him down in one area and the next thing you know he is totally in a different spot. It won't be long and he will get that crawling thing down and it won't be a little crawling, it will be a lot. Guess we better be baby proofing the house.

Sorry no pictures this time. Our camera is being crazy. Hopefully I will post some before too long.

like some, and hate some

So I found a new pastime. I love to Karaoke. Actually, I just like the microphone. It is a nice chew toy, and sometimes when I make sounds it is like magic and it is really loud. Mommy even shares her microphone with me. Which is pretty amazing I hear. It must mean she really loves me.
I showed my skills last weekend at the Tara East Luau (all of daddy's roommates and families get together every year for a luau and have fun) This is my first official year in attendance and I have to say it was pretty fun and I behaved really well so the grown ups could have their fun. Next year I won't be the only child, Nate and Kari will have a playmate for me.

Even though I discovered something I really enjoy I found out I really don't like Peas. I tried to fool Mommy so she wouldn't feed them to me and I would gag on them. But mommy kept trying so I learned to spit them out.
My pea goatee
My first time trying peas at John and Rachel's
Since the peas I have moved on to other foods, and I must say they are much tastier. Anything is better than peas.
Hope you have a wonderful Labor day weekend.
Jacob
