Halloween

So on Halloween, Michael and I dropped the camera and didn't get very many good pictures. The camera is now broke so it may be a while before we update the blog with pictures. It was just another thing to add to the Halloween chaos.

I watched Malachi and Jacob on Halloween during the day. They were a riot. Jacob was Malachi's Shadow and the two of them were in everything. I will tell you little story to let you know about my day. So I had given Malachi a cookie, and he had been eating it. To pass the time I put them in the covered wagon below and took them for a ride around the house. When I peeked in to see how they were doing in the wagon. I saw Jacob chewing on something. I immediately pulled back the covering (which is why it isn't in place for the pictures). I then found that Malachi had given Jacob part of his cookie. I got it out of Jacobs mouth and went to wash my hands. While washing my hands, I heard Jacob choking/gagging. I ran around the corner to find my son covered in Vomit (as well as the wagon). I picked up my son and took him to the sink to hose him off. I went back to get Malachi and found Malachi decided to taste the vomit. OH, how gross! I was about to scream. Anyways, Here are a few pictures from the day.

"Mom, enough pictures of me with this silly hat,
I am leaving and taking your pumpkin with me."

"Howdy, ya' all"

Isn't he the cutest little cowboy?

Notice the little boo boo he got on his check that day at church while I was in my bible study.

Hope you had a wonderful Halloween.

Getting ready for Halloween

So my first Halloween is only 2 days away I have been making plenty of preparations, making sure mom and dad are ready for trick or treaters. I decided to inspect the goodies we are going to hand out. They have lots of bright colors. Some are hard and some are soft.
I wish I could really eat this stuff. It smells so good. (by the way I have 6 teeth now)

Our pumpkins are ready to welcome trick or treaters. Here is the Watts family pumpkins. Each year we do something different. Daddy likes to carve. Mommy likes to paint. This year was mommys turn to pick. I think my pumpkin is the cuttest. Mommy says it is because I am the cuttest, but I have to say Daddys is really unique. It looks like he is already scared of the trick or treaters or maybe that we will run out of candy.
Mommy's little pumpkin

I hope you all have a wonderful Halloween. I will be helping daddy pass out Candy to trick or treaters while Mommy works. I will try and post pictures of my Halloween outfit.

Updating finally

So I am so sorry I haven't updated in a while. I warned you with post number one that I would not always be very prompt at updating, so I shouldn't have to say I am sorry.
So much has happened these past few weeks. It doesn't feel like very much at the time, just normal every day stuff, but looking back on it so much has changed as Jacob gets more and more mobile.
A big event is this past weekend Chris and Rachel Sherck (My brother and sister-in-law) had a little baby girl, about 8 weeks early. They named her Ruth Kathryn. She is so adorable. Right now she is doing well in the NICU at Riley. Rachel is doing well too and got to come home from the hospital on Sunday. We ask that you pray for them as Ruth gets stronger, Rachel heals, and Chris and Malachi try to balance everything that is happening in their lives.
Because of the arrival of Ruth, We had an unexpected visit from Grandpa Sherck at our house. This picture was so cute as Jacob was playing with him on Sunday morning before Church.

Jacob has also discoved the game of hide and seek, I have found him many places, under the kitchen table, under the end tables and coffee table and so on. He was having so much fun under the kitchen table. Giggling and peeking around our jackets hanging off the backs of the chairs.
He has also gotten in to many things, including my plant that I have had since college from my grandpa's funeral. He was too cute sitting with it on his head to be mad. Hopefully the plant will survive this like it did my dorm.
And finally, Here is his 8 mth picture with the bear. Boy, is the bear getting smaller?

need to make some adjustments

So because we have little mobile one in the Watts Household, some major adjustments are needed to be made. Not only do my pretty decorations need to be put away, and the stair gates up, but we need some crib adjustments. As you can see I found my little boy giggling and standing in his bed. He was also putting this blanket over his head. He thought it was so funny( I wish I could let you hear his giggles). I guess we will need to lower the mattress. Next thing you know he will be using the blanket to climb out.

Another side note, The weather has finally change to cooler. We adjusted nicely to our fall clothes. Jacob, I think, is a bit happier. His summer stuff was getting a little small. Hope you enjoy this fall weather. God bless

Baby dedication

This past weekend was a busy one. At Church I was dedicated. This means that My mommy and Daddy and all my family, friends and church recognized that I am a gift from God and will provide an environment to learn and grow to know him more. So in a sense God gave me to my parents and my parents gave me back to God. Because of the special service I had a lot of family in town. My great grandparents, Joe and Katie Lehman, and great grandma Velma Sherck came. My grandma and grandpa Sherck and uncles Chris, Matt, and Brian along with Aunt Rachel, Lindsey and Carrie and of course my cousin Malachi, were all present. Afterwards we had a cookout at our house. However it was really hot so we all ate inside. I love spending time with all my family. I played so much I did not want to take a nap. Then when Mommy finally forced me to take a nap, I was mad and looking around when I got up and saw they were all gone. I have decided I will not take naps when family or friends are here anymore, because then they will leave. Here are a few pictures from the dedication for you to enjoy.

I also have become really good at crawling. Daddy and Mommy say I am getting into everything. I just am exploring. I am pretty fast. Maybe I will be a runner like daddy someday. Here is a picture of me starting to take off. Mommy can't get a good picture because I am so fast. I decided I won't wait for others to carry me. I will just do it myself.

7mth pictures

I finally got my camera to work so here is our 7 mth picture with the bear. He is getting so big all the time.
I thought I would also add a couple pictures from our recent trip to the studio. They turned out pretty well even after a little disappointing day at the studio. There were so many to choose from it made the decision really hard to pick. Here are a few for you to enjoy.

7 months

So this weekend has tuckered me out. Malachi, my cousin, came to play. It was very hard for me to take naps and everything with Malachi here. Also visiting was my grandma and grandpa Sherck and my Uncle Chris and Aunt Rachel. Uncle Chris and Aunt Rachel were supposed to go to Cincinnati but Aunt Rachel had a seizure, and so they didn’t end up going. Please pray for my Aunt Rachel and Cousin Ruth (that is in her belly). I love having people around. They keep me so entertained. I love watching what they are doing, especially Malachi. I like to watch him run around. Someday I will be able to run around with him.
On Sunday then after everyone left. I went to the Zoo for the first time. I must say, it was pretty cool. My mommy was very proud of me. I wanted to get down and climb in with the animals, but Mommy wouldn’t let me. I love watching all the kids there. Mommy’s friend Vicki met us at the Zoo. After the Zoo, we went to the butterfly gardens. That was fun too. Mommy turns everything into a photo shoot though. Needless to say, when I got home Sunday evening I decided to head to bed early with no Fuss.

Here are some pictures from our fun day at the Zoo.

Vicki , who are you giving me to?
