Things I enjoy lately

Festivals!!!! I enjoyed Corn School last week then this past weekend enjoyed the apple festival. The best part is all the yummy food. However, I am such a people watcher and I love watching all the people, especially the kids. At Corn School I got to see the kiddie parade and a bunch of rides. At the apple festival, I sat through all of Raise a Ruckus, a show choir like show that East noble puts on.
Unfortunately,Mommy didn't bring the camera so the only picture we have is what our good friend John sent us that he took with his IPhone. I am pointing at the apple in this picture. I love apples. Next, I still love being outside even when it is cold. I try to escape as much as possible, but Mommy and Daddy always find me.
Daddy wrestling me
And finally I love Grandpa's Bus. I can't wait for him to get home and I run to him from where ever he is at. I really want him to take me on a bus ride. I even say Bus only I am not so good about adding the S sound.

Fun times with friends

Two weeks ago, Jacob and I made a little trip over to my old college roommates house. Jess and her son Greyson were great host for us and we were so glad to have Rachael and her kids Kenley and Jarrett join us. Kenley was a great play mate for Jacob. The two older were helping Jess baby proof her house for Greyson, and they loved on the little ones. We spent the morning just hanging out like old times at Jess's, except we never had to chase little ones. After that we decided to head to the park. Kenley and Jacob loved it. Then we headed to McDonald's for ice cream and realized it was time to eat supper. The playground there was also a big hit.
We had so much fun getting together. You know you are good friends when you can pick up a conversation and act like no time has past from the last time you saw each other. We hope to get together more often now that it is a closer drive.
Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy from our day.
Can you believe this picture sorta turned out with 4 little ones under the age of 2, and it is set on a timer

Indian Days in Howe

So in Small Town USA, in the fall, there is a festival, fair, or carnival going on in some small town near by and of course I love them. Hey, that is the only excitement or entertainment we have. So of course, I have to drag Jacob and my family to all of them. This past weekend while we were watching Malachi and Ruth there was a little festival called Indian Days in Howe, IN. It was small but cute. We went specifically for the parade. It was a nice parade for a small town and the kids seemed to really enjoy it. "Mom, I'm going over there. It looks like more fun"
Trying to take a picture with grandma and the kids, but they were not cooperating- too many things going on. That is why the photography skills are not up to Parr. Out of 7-8 pictures that is the only one where they are all sorta sitting.
Jacob and Daddy (Michael) enjoying the parade
Waiting for the parade to start
Sharing some of the fair food.
We missed the Johnny Appleseed festival and pigeon river fest, but we are looking forward to Corn School and the Apple festival!

visitors

So this past weekend, Mommy and Daddy agreed to watch my cousin's Malachi and Ruth. I was so excited to get to play with them. The three of us had so much fun and we surely kept Mommy and Daddy on their toes. Here are a couple of pictures of us playing. Ruth is getting to be too fast and we didn't get many pictures of her. These outdoor pictures we took while she was napping. Jumping on the trampoline

Grandma got this Barbie Jeep at a Garage sale for really Cheap. Barbie Jeep or not, we had a lot of fun with it. I can't quite reach the pedals, but Malachi can. I don't really like riding shot gun though. So unless he reaches the pedals from the other side and lets me steer, I wouldn't ride it.
We needed a little help going in the right direction, and Kane (the dog) loved to chase us. I thought it was funny and would laugh.

Photo fun

So the other day, Jacob was outside enviously watching Grandpa on the tractor. He was looking so cute as he waited hoping to get Grandpa's attention so he could take a ride. It ended up being a cute picture day as I quickly snapped a few shots.

Okay, so the last one his face says he is done with pictures. But really I think he is done waiting for Grandpa to give him a ride.
I can't believe how big he has gotten.I know we only moved up here a month ago, but it seems in that month alone he has gotten so much bigger. He is not a little baby anymore, he is growing into a little boy. However, He'll always be my baby!

Discovering Grandma's

So I am adjusting quickly to living at Grandmas. I had been here many times, but I am discovering more each day.

I love playing outside with all the out side toys (Grandpa's tractor included). Mommy says I am so cute because I go inside this little house under the slide and play drive up window. She comes to my window and ask for a shake or fries and I turn and play like I am getting something and then hand it to her. I then blow her a kiss.
Here I am discovering all the nooks and crannies of grandma and grandpa's house. What is this? A cassette tape?
Grandma and Grandpa have brought me out some toys my mommy and uncles use to play with and I enjoy them as much as my toys.

And as you can see I have gotten pretty good about taking off my clothes. Mommy is very thankful, we have had no incidents in public. I think it is a very fun game as mommy puts on my clothes I take them off. Mommy says she is saving these pictures to display when I graduate!
** I don't show naughty pictures, It is all covered!

Labor day

I was trying to get mommy to join in the pool fun. Then I decided to just wave Hi.

swinging with Remington and Bobby

So labor day we didn't really have too much planned, just to continue finishing the basement. After a quick trip to the flea Market, brunch at Great Aunt Cindy and Marvin's, and lots of work in the basement,

I felt like it was time to jump in the pool. I made a quick phone call to Remi to see if he wanted to join me. He jumped into his swimmers and make it down to our house. We had lots of fun. After swimming we thought it would be fun to play on the swing set. Bobby (his older brother) joined in on the fun.

Mommy says lately I have been spoiled rotten at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She and Daddy say their parenting skills have gone down hill with the grandparents around. But I can't complain. Look at that last picture, Does that really look like a face of a spoiled rotten little kid?
